We believe that the root of many of our major physical, emotional and mental difficulties and challenges today (as individuals, families, communities, societies, and global society) are the existence of fixed gestalts / unfinished businesses and unresolved traumas. They are often outside of our awareness, yet deeply and strongly undermining the quality of our lives and relationships, influencing us every step of the way.
Even when we know about their existence in our history and psyche, fixed gestalts / unfinished businesses and unresolved traumas might still be challenging. How can you find safe and suitable ways to bring them into awareness and have enough self and social support to process and resolve them?
The approach experienced throughout this foundational workshop is strongly embedded in Gestalt theory, while also drawing from the broughther known field theory. One of its main
pillars is our natural capacity to be able to feel one another through a process called kinesthetic resonance.
The ones who participate will have several chances to work with their unfinished businesses or unresolved trauma issues while also may choose to be active supporters of the process work of others. Doing so, they take foundational steps toward completing and integrating their unfinished businesses and thus move towards authentic living and thriving instead of only surviving.
The workshop will be led by Elisabeth Helene Sæther and be co facilitated by Réka Horosz.
Elisabeth has been an experienced Gestalt therapist since 2009, a supervisor since 2013 and an IoPT practitioner since 2021.
Through the combination of her various professional educations and her unique life experience, she developed an approach to efficiently address and potentially heal an extensive range of chronic conditions, rooted in unresolved trauma, including various types of chronic physical pain, depression, anxiety and many other mental, emotional, social or physical ailments.
